Quick. 4 minutes to travel between Gosport & Portsmouth
Regular. Operates every 15 minutes
Reliable. More than 99% of our ferries depart on time
The well being of our passengers and crew are our top priority, as is running the best service we can during these very testing times. It is thus with regret that we have to announce from Saturday 11th April the service will not operate for the final hour each day. Below is the exact timetable for weekdays and weekends showing the last ferry from Gosport at 22.50 hours and from Portsea (Portsmouth) at 23.00 hours.
In line with all transport operators the drop in the number of fare paying passengers has been staggering as people follow the Government guidelines and stay at home for all but essential travel. Meanwhile the costs of running the ferry are still significant as we strive to maintain a service to transport our NHS Staff, Carers, and other Key Worker heroes to and fro across the harbour. We continue to seek Government support, but sadly, so far, nothing has been forthcoming.
This statement will be regularly updated following the daily briefings from Government.
