The Gosport & Portsmouth Queen Ferries provide the local link between Gosport and Portsea [Portsmouth]. The service runs 364 days a year from 05:30 hrs to midnight, weather permitting. Crossing time is approximately 4 minutes each way, and is the only link between the City and Gosport. Traveling across the harbour you get an excellent view of HMS Victory and the other larger ferries using Portsmouth water way. Also a number of Royal Naval ships and aircraft carriers are based here.
